I served with Bob Hamilton in Vietnam and know him to be an honorable man. He has been a leader in organizing our ship reunions and even though in the past I probably would have supported a Republican like Issa, Congress will need men like Mr. Hamilton with vision to lead us through these economic difficulties. The endorsement by Esquire Magazine is an important accomplishment.

Kudos to Esquire on spotting a real man of integrity! I’ve met Robert Hamilton several times and trust his credentials and character. He is a Vietnam veteran, UCLA graduate, and formerly a business person in banking. In addition to having a vision and plans for healing our economy, Mr Hamilton strongly supports education, health, national security and fair, strong international ties. He will make a superb Congress person.

Subsidy for mass transit makes sense.

Subsidy for parking and driving a car does not. Free market means paying for what we use and NOT paying for what we do not use.

Under current commen practice, the cost of car parking reduces wages and increases the cost of housing and other items, regardless of whether or not one uses the car parking.

I understand and agree with your statement of the problem… We should all agree that failure to regulate, elimination of market rules and bias toward the capital markets has created this crisis …we need to get out of where we’re at as our retirement savings are being destroyed at this point.

You are so right. I watched him get Henry Waxman so mad at a hearing last month that Waxman threatened to have him physically removed from the chamber by the Sargeant at arms. You’ll have to stand in a long line and wait your turn because there thousands who want him gone.

Bob Hamilton is running for the 49th district and what a super guy he is. Check out his website. I can’t believe that people haven’t risen up and recalled Issa for his insensitive remarks about 9/11 victims or for his support of Bush’s disregard for our Constitutions which is near criminal.

Let’s help get him ousted by voting for Bob Hamilton and getting integrity back in Washington.
